Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Merchandise professional to join our dynamic team. As a Fashion Merchandise, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our brand by curating and managing our product assortment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development and Sourcing:
- Collaborate with design and sourcing teams to develop new product lines that align with brand vision and market trends.
- Source high-quality materials and manufacturers to ensure optimal product quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Merchandising and Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies, including product assortment planning, pricing, and promotion.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Create and manage product line plans, including seasonal assortments and inventory levels.
- Visual Merchandising:
- Collaborate with visual merchandising/ Graphic teams to create compelling and visually appealing product promo.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all sales channels.
- Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions to maximize profitability.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues promptly.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control and management processes to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Implement effective inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies.
- Market Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fashion merchandising or a related role.
- Strong understanding of the fashion industry, including trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Canva).
- Experience with retail management systems (POS, inventory systems, Shopify).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast and slow-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and digital merchandising.
- Knowledge of international sourcing and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop etc ).
